Founder's Vision & Mission

"When Health Information Speaks Your Cultural Language, It Saves Lives."

Charles Ogunnowo Olorunfemi founded Global Villaje Media to resolve a persistent, tragic reality: clinical advice in the UK was often delivered in clinical jargon that alienated Black African and Caribbean communities, fueling distrust and delayed diagnoses.

By combining community radio broadcasting, grassroots film production, culinary sessions, and honest peer conversations, Global Villaje Media creates safe spaces where people listen, learn, and take control of their health.

"Our mission is simple: to make health literacy culturally accessible, dignifying, and engaging for every family in the global village."
